On 10 June, a damaging wind storm caused widespread power outages to about 81,000 PECO customers in Montgomery County. As part of operation to provide information regarding relief efforts, the new RSAN Community Alert system was utilized.  An operational/technical error resulted in a message that, due to length, was split into a number of text messages. The message was also sent to a wider group than intended. This has been corrected and should not occur in the future. Our apologies for this inconvenience to those who have signed up for this service.
